Rebranding & creative direction / 2024

In 2024, I had the opportunity to work on the rebranding of the Italian music magazine Ilbranoconsigliato. My responsibilities included designing a new logo and creating fresh social media templates for the magazine's online content.

Ilbranoconsigliato was originally founded by Giuliano Nappo as a personal space where he could share and discuss his favorite music. It grew from his desire to connect with people who shared his deep love and passion for music.

With this in mind, I aimed to give the brand a more human touch, and the best way to do that was by creating a mascot that resonated with both the audience and the founder. That’s how Muso was born—the new face of Ilbranoconsigliato. Thanks to the incredible illustration work by Claudio Iapicca, also known as CREO, we brought Muso to life. Muso is a quirky music enthusiast—a bit shy, but capable of talking for hours about guitars, synths, rhymes, and beats.

Using a mascot allowed us to introduce a versatile graphic element that could be adapted across various formats, from Instagram posts to t-shirts and stickers. This helped establish a continuous visual connection with the magazine’s audience.

For the additional graphic elements, I ensured they were bold yet clear, maintaining an element of fun through the presence of Muso. We also made sure the social media templates were distinct from one another, addressing a previous issue where the content looked too uniform, which had reduced its appeal to followers.
